The time has come, let's make your site. How to make a web page can be broken down into 10 steps.
1) Select a Domain Name
2) Select a Web Host
3) Redirect Your Domain Name to Your Web Host
4) Select a Web Editor
5) Changing Fonts and Colors on your Web Page
6) Resizing and Adding Images to Your Web Page
7) Adding Text in a Table to Your Web Page
8) Saving your Files Correctly
9) Publishing your Web Page
10) Creating Links
Prior to beginning step 1, you should have already completed your web plan, identifying your who (your target audience), what (type of web site), when (target date for completion and being online, as well as update intervals), where (host location of site) and why (purpose of site) for your website. These initial decisions will be the basis for subsequent design decisions as we complete our website.
Once again, this first article will serve as a reference guide, steering us through the process together. And by working through each step, you'll overcome some of the mystery and uncertainty surrounding the internet and website creation. So that by the end of this series, you will be able to understand the process and make your own websites; repeating this process time and time again, as often as you care to.
